We didn't think the live-streaming portal between Dublin and New York would last long, but less than a week?
An Only Fans model (I'm not going to list her name since she wants attention to lure in more "customers") is credited with getting the "bridge to a united planet" shut down after showing her "homegrown potatoes."
Those in charge of the portal hope to get it back up and running with technical solutions for bad behavior.
'While we cannot control all of these actions, we are implementing some technical solutions to address this and these will go live in the next 24 hours,' the council said in a Monday statement. 'We will continue to monitor the situation over the coming days with our partners in New York to ensure that portals continue to deliver a positive experience for both cities and the world.'
I assume that means some sort of AI or live censorship of the streaming video?
But I can't imagine how that will work, as the potato lady's little display was just the culmination of bad behavior.
The portal has brought out the worst in people, and while literally no one is surprised, it's hard to imagine what people will come up with at the portal.
From some Irish lady grinding her fully clothed rear end on it for twenty minutes before police showed up. 👇
To the Irish trolling with videos of the Twin Towers. 👇
I don't know how live censorship works or if machines will be able to keep up.
But I do know …
… this is why we can't have nice things.
