That Ohio Republican who got in trouble for saying Jesus Christ is our only hope? Yeah, she was apparently dismissed from her job at Right to Life for the "bigoted" tweet

Earlier this week, we covered how Lizzie Marbach got into hot water with a certain "conservative" congressman in Ohio who objected to her public statement of a Christian truth claim.

If you read to the end of the story, however, you would know that Miller, the offended Jewish congressman, apologized for this accusation that Marbach was a bigot for espousing the Christian view of the exclusivity of Christ.

You might have thought that was the end of the controversy.

You see, Lizzie is not only a former Trump campaigner and a Republican official in Ohio. She is also the communications director for Ohio Right to Life, a statewide pro-life organization.

Or, she WAS a member until right after her dust-up with Miller, whose wife just happens to be on the board for Ohio Right to Life.

Ohio Right to Life, for their part, denies that Marbach was dismissed because of her tweet. Which, of course, makes total sense, given that Marbach's profile, which is still live on Ohio Right to Life's website this morning, proclaims very similar Christian truth claims:

So, Right to Life says that Marbach wasn't fired just for a single tweet where she got into a public confrontation with the spouse of a board member. She was fired mere days after the confrontation for other, unstated reasons.

According to The Sentinel, however, it does seem like this controversial tweet was a deciding factor.

Internal communications at Ohio Right to Life reviewed by The Sentinel showed that Marbach was offered the opportunity to resign from the entity or receive a transition period before her official dismissal, both of which she declined.

The dismissal came days after Marbach and another senior Ohio Right to Life employee disagreed about a separate post from Marbach, in which she called a pro-abortion activist a "murderous liar" in reference to a proposed state constitutional amendment that would expand the legality of abortion in Ohio. The employee was concerned about the tone of the post.

So, Right to Life apparently didn't like the abrasiveness of calling a murderous liar exactly that in an earlier post… then there was this post about Christianity, which made national headlines, and it seems to have been the last straw for the board.

It's wild, but in today's world someone being "pro-life" and "conservative" does not mean that person is in any way friendly to Christianity.

Just realize where we are.
