I'm not sure if this lady thought Joe Biden was still president or what; but someone should probably tell her that there's been a regime change in the White House since January.

In an interview with the Reformer, Her clarified that she and her parents are U.S. citizens. Her is a refugee from Laos and moved to the U.S. when she was three. Her's parents took their U.S. citizenship test, and Her became a citizen as a minor when she was in middle school, she said.
Walking back your highly publicized "I'm an illegal immigrant!" comment like:
The lawmaker claimed she was merely "trying to inspire empathy in her Republican colleagues" who were "about to vote to take away state-funded health care for adults in Minnesota without permanent legal status."
Still, even though she "clarified" that she was actually allowed to be here, the lawmaker sort of half-admitted that her father brought the family here under the radar:
[H]er father technically broke the law when he filled out paperwork for the family to come to the U.S. as refugees. He did so to expedite the process to come to the U.S., though they would have come to America anyway.
