Hey, congratulations to the Atlanta Falcons for becoming the first NFL team to be 100% vaccinated!!
Great job you guys!!!
Okay, hold on… what?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh…
Okay, that makes sense.
I'm remembering now how difficult the NFL is making life for unvaccinated players and the teams they play on.
COOL!!
There's no word yet on who these two unvaccinated players are, but they're probably lower-end players, and the chances of them making it onto an NFL roster this season are now slim to none.
Because check this out:
Those players, if they remain unvaccinated, likely won't get other chances. Given the 2021 protocols, unvaccinated players must wait five days before trying out or signing. Vaccinated players can do either, immediately. Which means that, for the players among the first five out as teams dropped from 90 to 85, unvaccinated players likely will be out of luck.
And here' something fun:
Yeah, the NFL should've just mandated the vaccine.
It would've been a lot easier that way. And a lot less shady.
Good luck to all you lower-end players who are not vaccinated.
Because this is only the beginning.
GREAT JOB ATLANTA!!!
