Alright beeple, let's get down to it.
There are many great Christmas albums out there, but there are very few that stand out above the rest.
But don't worry, I, Harris Rigby, have come up with the definitive list of the top 5 Christmas albums of all time.
I'm sure this won't spark any kind of debate.
Without further ado:
#5 - A Charlie Brown Christmas - Vince Guaraldi Trio
There's maybe nothing more nostalgic than Charlie Brown. No other character could make straight jazz music festive and joyful for the holidays.
#4 - Let It Snow Baby... Let It Reindeer - Relient K
It's fun. It's poppy. It's punk. It's sweet. This album is tough to beat.
#3 - Barenaked for the Holidays - Barenaked Ladies
Everyone knows the one radio song from the radio, God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen/We Three Kings. But this album is chock full of songs, not just for Christmas but for Hanukkah, and New Years as well.
#2 - The Beach Boys' Christmas Album - The Beach Boys
What can you say about The Beach Boys? Best band ever? Maybe. They are such a joy to listen to, no matter the time of year, but it's not Christmas until you hear one of their classics.
#1 - Phil Spector's A Christmas Gift For You
I mean, is there anything better than Phil Spector's Christmas masterpiece, A Christmas Gift For You?
This album has SO MANY classic Christmas songs that have been radio staples since their release.
Maybe no song better represents this album than Darlene Love's Christmas, Baby Please Come Home.
Honorable mention: Tijuana Christmas - The Border Brass And Singer
This is just a fun and upbeat Christmas album, which will bring you plenty of joy this holiday.
