The media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) have been working overtime this week to tie Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, to a random group of Nazis who held a protest on the street in Orlando.
Literally ten people, in a state of millions, dressed up as Nazis the other day, therefore the entire state is pro-Nazi and the Governor of the state is a Nazi, too.
These people had absolutely nothing to do with DeSantis, yet the Governor is being tied to them just because the media and Dems see it as an easy go-to move.
Calling someone you disagree with a Nazi, based on no evidence. So original.
Well, after enduring the harping for the last two days, DeSantis finally had enough.
[Language Warning]
So what I'm going to say is these people, these Democrats who are trying to use this as some type of political issue to smear me as if I had something to do with it, we're not playing their game.
You know, some jacka**** on the street, first of all state law enforcement is going to hold them accountable because they were doing stuff on the overpass. So they're absolutely gonna do that and they should do that.
There, you hear that Democrats? He's anti-Nazi. He called them a bunch of jacka****.
Is that good enough?
No, of course, it won't be. They have a narrative to push! Nevermind that the Nazis are uber-lefty with their "nationalist socialist" sign! This is clown world, where you aren't supposed to pay attention!
DeSantis then goes on the offensive.
This is why he's the star of the Republican Party. No apology, and turns the attack around on them.
But I'm not gonna have people smear me, that belong to a political party that has elevated anti-semites to the halls of congress, like Ilhan Omar. That have played footsie with the BDS movement. That even have people in their party that have cavorted with Farrakhan.
Man alive! DeSantis takes no prisoners. He effectively pulls the reverse card and says "you wanna talk about Nazis and anti-semitism? Here's a mirror."
Then he goes on to highlight the policies they've passed in Florida that actually are beneficial to the Jewish people.
No, we're gonna take our record in Florida and what we've done. Signed the strongest antisemitism bill in the country. We've stared down companies who were indulged in BDS like AirBNB and won. We've provided record funding for Jewish day schools. And we've had the strongest relationship between Florida and Israel that we've ever had.
He came at them with the receipts!
There's a reason he's the most popular governor in America. He stands up to the left and can dish it back.
DeSantis 2024.
