It's not just TIME and USA Today, either. Here's Axios:

'Harris was appointed 'border czar' in March of 2021, and since that time, millions and millions of illegal aliens have invaded our country and countless Americans have been killed by migrant crime because of her willful demolition of America borders and laws,' Trump told reporters on a call on Tuesday ...

Harris supporters have rushed to her defense. 'She assumed the role that Vice President Biden had during the Obama administration, which is diplomacy with Central America,' former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson told Fox News on Tuesday. 'She is not the border czar.'

No refuting Trump's claim about the invasion over our open border, just a refutation that Kamala ever had that actual title.

In March 2021, Biden tapped Harris to lead the administration's coordination with Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, which were key sources of migration to the border.

• The announcement led to near immediate confusion in the media and in the White House over how involved Harris would be. Shortly after, the border surge had grown into a full-blown humanitarian and political crisis.

• The "border czar" narrative stuck especially in conservative circles, and calls mounted in the spring of 2021 for Harris to visit the border.

What Axios is saying here is that Kamala was given the nickname "border czar" because she was appointed by Biden to coordinate with nations that were "key sources of migration."

But because the name "border czar" was never given to her, she was never technically the "border czar."

Well, if that seems like the most idiotic line of hogwash you've ever read, well, Axios in 2021 would agree!

You really don't hate journalists enough, ladies and gentlemen.

They don't tell you the news. They tell you the story. Big difference.

It's not just the print media, either. Here's CNN trying its best to lie through its teeth in order to defend Kamala:

You'll notice that second part is Biden directly talking about his choice to send Kamala to the border.

A job she entirely ignored until NBC's Lester Holt asked her why she hadn't been to the border:

Imagine if you were put in charge of helping a homeless shelter.

Months later, when a reporter asked you why you hadn't been over to the shelter, imagine you laughed and joked that you hadn't been over to the animal shelter either!

Just in case there is still any confusion, here is the Associated Press on March 21, 2021. Notice the word "lead."

The media wants you to think that's not a description worthy of the nickname "border czar."

Kamala can no longer be "border czar" because that's the angle Trump and JD Vance are attacking her on:

Because almost all the people who claim to be objective reporters don't want a Republican in office, they are out here defending one of the most unlikable politicians in America.
