The Gospel Coalition has surpassed parody

Guys, I think the people at The "Gospel" Coalition are just messing with us now.

I never thought THIS could be topped:

But TGC Australia just topped it.

Yes, the Gospel according to T-Swizzle.

I'm not going to subject you to this "Gospel presentation" sampled from T-Swift lyrics in its entirety. But rest assured there is no mention of Jesus, no mention of the cross, no mention of resurrection or being born again. You'd simply never find those themes in any Taylor Swift song.

There are 3 mentions of "God," however they are mostly instances of taking the Lord's name in vain.

G-- rest my soul, I miss who I used to be. The battle's in your hands now, But I would lay my armor down, Will you forgive my soul ...?

Magic, madness, heaven, sin. Saw you there, and I thought, "Oh my G-- ..."

And the sky turned black like a perfect storm, G-- rest my soul, I miss who I used to be ...

So, we take lyrics where God's name is used in vain and have instead repurposed them, in some cases, to make boyfriend lyrics in Swift songs be about God instead.

It's so stupid.

I mean, you could do this with anything. You could take lines from anyone's songs, put them together out of sequence, and create an empty "Gospel" message like this.

This is like a gospel presentation using only Metallica lyrics. Sure, you could do it, but why?

It's so incredibly ... well ...
