The "Island Boys" From TikTok Teamed Up With An US Army Recruiter And This Is Beyond Embarrassing For Our Armed Forces
· Jan 26, 2022 · NottheBee.com

If this is your first time hearing about "Island Boy," be thankful.

Unfortunately, this was a TikTok that got super out of control. These dudes with a laughable amount of tattoos and the weirdest hair ever put out this freestyle rap on TikTok that went viral because of how bad it was.

Watch at your own risk.

Well, if you thought that was awful... you apparently don't work in the US Army recruitment office.

Because this is the duo the Army has enlisted to help recruit young people into the ranks of the military.

Seriously.

Oh gosh. That's embarrassing.

An army recruiter thought it would be a good idea to use the Cameo app, where you pay celebrities to do shoutouts for you, to get the Island Boys to shout him out and encourage people to sign up for the Army through him.

What an absolute joke.

I would say that this is the most embarrassing thing to happen to the US Army, but we just had this story:

At least this was just one rogue Army recruiter using the Island Boys and not the Social Media team for the entire US Army.

If this is the future of our military, I really hope we don't have to get involved in any more wars.
