The LA Times ran a story on privileged black Americans leaving America to do yoga in Costa Rica to escape racism and I'M DYING FROM LAUGHTER ๐Ÿ’€

Yes, this is a real story:

Wild. Absolutely wild.

I thought the LA Times already had the dumbest take of the day with bird segregation:

But nope! They are going for broke today!

Filmmaker Jameelah Nuriddin was locked down in Los Angeles during the pandemic, watching as the nation convulsed in protest over the murder of George Floyd, when she had an epiphany: "America does not deserve me."

IMAGINE THAT LEVEL OF NARCISSISM!

As a Black woman, Nuriddin always tried to work twice as hard as those around her, thinking: "If I'm smart enough, pretty enough, successful enough ... then finally people will treat me as a human being."

These people think the KKK is waiting around every corner when the United States over the past half century has become what is arguably the least racist, least discriminatory nation ever in the history of mankind.

Oh, you guys don't realize how much hate almost every people group on the planet has or has had toward their neighbors? You didn't realize that ethnic violence, what we stupidly call "racism," is the norm in most of the world still?

But as she grieved yet another unarmed Black man killed by police, she decided she was done trying to prove herself to a society that she felt would never really love her back.

She must be one of those people who think police kill thousands of unarmed black men every year instead of less than 20 in a nation of 340 million people.

"It's like leaving an abusive relationship," she said of exiting the United States.

Really?

There is no better country to be black if you're an American, unless you're stuck in the new Democrat welfare plantations in the city, I guess.

America is the only nation on the planet that allows black people - along with every other shape and sized person - to own as many blasters of as many types as they want. It's also the only nation that fought a civil war with a death toll higher than all its other wars combined to end slavery based on race and the only nation with inherent personal rights at its core instead of something slapped hastily over monarchial rule.

We also set the precedent for the idea of equality and anti-discrimination laws. America is so thoroughly favorable to black people that if they work hard, the world is their oyster! Immigrants from West Africa have some of the highest social mobility and wealth generation in the world right now. I can't believe how many have been on "Shark Tank."

To add to this, the BLM grift has caused woke companies to actively discriminate against white people, with 94% (!!) of all corporate jobs in the S&P 100 going to non-whites in the last 3 years.

But yeah, America just loves to hate black people I guess!

So where did this lady move?

She ended up in Costa Rica, in an idyllic beach town on the Caribbean coast that has become a hub for hundreds of Black expatriates fed up with life in the United States.

She moved to Costa Rica, the country all the immigrants are flooding through on their way to racist America!

At least Costa Rica isn't as racist and hateful as America, right?

The struggle session is real: These people want to move to other countries to live out their martyr/oppression complex, but then they realize that being an American actually gives you a whole bunch of advantages in the world and don't want to renounce their citizenship:

Many of those who are leaving are trying to escape their American-ness โ€” yet are also having to confront the power of their dollars and what Wright calls "passport privilege."

LOL!

Only someone rich, lazy, and entitled could live like this.

Wright, 49, a former marketing executive who spent most of her life in New York and New Jersey, left in part because she couldn't bear the thought of living through another American presidential election.

During the 2020 contest, after which President Trump's supporters overran the U.S. Capitol to try to stop certification of Joe Biden's win, she was racked by insomnia and lost her appetite.

Grandma triggered her! It was the darkest day in history!

Wait until this extremely entitled and privileged person realizes how politics and power works in most of the world, including Costa Rica!

"I was rattled to my core," Wright said. Departing the country "meant being able to take a full breath for the first time."

No more suspecting that all your friendly white neighbors are secretly racists who gossip about you behind your back. Now you're free to do anything as long as you watch out for the sicarios at all times!

Some countries have made an explicit push to draw African Americans. "You do not have to stay where you are not wanted forever," Ghana's tourism minister said at a ceremony there marking Floyd's death in 2020. "You have a choice, and Africa is waiting for you."

Yes, Ghana, the beacon of human rights and liberty!

Meanwhile, in the shining lights of Mexico City, which the LA Times presents as a glorious haven for black Americans...

As the rain came down in sheets outside, Davis sipped cocktails with a few friends and talked about what it means to be Black in Mexico City. Mexico never had formal segregation, and it has a smaller Black population than the United States. But discrimination based on skin color is rampant here, with darker-skinned Mexicans earning 52% less than their lighter compatriots, according to a study by Vanderbilt University.

Amazing! You escaped the toxic racism of America, where blacks get free rides to universities and awesome jobs based solely on their skin, to a place where they get paid way less but the government isn't woke and couldn't care less. Good job!

"Coming here it was rough for me," said Davis. "I get more stares here than I did in Thailand." Still, she said the looks feel different than in the U.S. โ€” less judgmental or suspicious, and more curious. "People are just like, โ€˜Who are you and where do you come from?'" she said.

"The looks feel different."

Y'all, if I weren't laughing so hard right now I would be CRYING.

The people in this story are not only the most entitled people I've ever seen in my life, but they are completely clueless and base everything on feelings. I feel genuinely sad for them. Get back here and I'll give you a hug! It sounds like you need one!

When family members inquire about the risks in Mexico, Parker said she tells them: "You should probably be more afraid of the white man at your local Target."

That's right, white people standing in line for their pumpkin-spice lattes at Starbucks inside Target are known for randomly murdering black people.

It happens all the time, just turn on the news! Black people being murdered in aisle 7 next to the Chip and JoJo decor!

Anyway, you should know these are very serious people who are definitely oppressed. While you're driving home from your 9-5 today wondering how you're going to pay the bills, think about how oppressed these people are.

Nuriddin lives next door on a lushly planted property that features a sprawling outdoor pagoda where she performs Kundalini energy sessions.

If the text doesn't show you how oppressed these people are, look at this photo of people who most definitely aren't some of the most privileged and wealthy on the planet:

OPPRESSED! SO OPPRESSED!

Guys, this article still has endless paragraphs to go, so I'll end with this:

"I'm not captive anymore," she said. "There are no chains holding me there other than the ones in my mind."

I'm pretty sure those were the only chains there this whole time and they are bigger than ever.

But if you really want to leave America to go do yoga on some fancy beach in Central America, I'm happy for you. I don't think America is big enough for that much ego anyway!
