The best baseball announcer in history has died.
The Los Angeles Dodgers announcer served in his role for 67 years, retiring in 2016. In 1953, he became the youngest broadcaster on a World Series – a record no one has beat to this day.
We wanted to remember the legend with a few highlights from his career, including the time he called Hank Aaron's new home-run record (surpassing Babe Ruth) in 1974.
