A Baltimore anti-violence activist who suggested we should pay criminals not to kill each other and has painted hundreds of public spaces with gun-free-zone messages has now been shot.
The irony here is absolutely painful.
It would be funny if it wasn't so serious.
The irony, however, is that the neighborhood claims that the anti-violence protester had been causing trouble himself the last few weeks.
Yeah, so a guy with multiple arrests for violence may not have been the best representative for his position.
Tough-on-crime policies seem to be a thing of the past in major American cities, and the path of "compassion" with gun-free zones has taken its place.
The consequences are deadly.
