Universal's new Mario Kart ride isn't built for obese people and fat America is mad ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ

There are plenty of signs that the literal enlargement of our nation has some pretty drastic ramifications for the survival of our civilization. This is one of them:

Super Nintendo World made a splashy debut at Universal Studios Hollywood this month with its soft opening, and gamers and tourists alike raced to see what the park had to offer and to get in line to test out its highly-anticipated Mario Kart ride.

Featuring slow-moving carts painted in different colors, the augmented reality experience that places riders inside Bowser's castle was destined to be a hit among Mario-lovers everywhere, but one detail about the ride is getting under some people's skin.

The "detail" in question is that the rides are a bit smaller than some visitors would have preferred, and that larger guests may have some trouble squeezing into them:

Look, I'm a 450-pound gorilla. I could probably shed a few pounds, but I'm built to be this size. Having everyone in your country be 50-100 pounds overweight is gonna cost you, whether it's the massive burden on the healthcare system to keep your body alive or not fitting into a ride based on an N64 game.

We have a serious problem that we need to talk about.

One guy has a pretty decent point tho:

It's true. Bowser has always rocked Mario Kart pretty hard.
