The NSA said they're not spying on Tucker Carlson and I'm sure it's true because you should always trust a powerful surveillance agency

The fact that the NSA even replied to Tucker Carlson's claim that they are spying on him makes me 1,000% more suspicious that they're up to something:

On June 28, 2021, Tucker Carlson alleged the National Security Agency has been ‘monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air.' This allegation is untrue. Tucker Carlson has never been an intelligence target of the Agency and the NSA has never had any plans to try to take his program off the air. NSA has a foreign intelligence mission. We target foreign powers to generate insights on foreign activities that could harm the United States. With limited exceptions (e.g. an emergency), NSA may not target a US citizen without a court order that explicitly authorizes the targeting.

See? They said everything is good, so we should just go about our lives! A very powerful spy agency with access to the world's data would not and has never been known to illegally spy on anyone at any time!

The NSA disabled comments on their tweets for obvious reasons.

Tucker himself replied directly to the statement and said he had a "very heated" phone call with the NSA:

Remember, nothing to see here!!
