The great economist Milton Friedman once observed that "nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program."

Alas, that level of permanence extends to government employees, as well, such as the woke ideologues at the Pentagon who apparently have permanent job security:

The Pentagon seeing your happiness and elation at a DEI unit getting broken up:

That's right — the military "gutted" its DEI education united and instead decided to just send all of its woke staffers deeper into the Pentagon:

DoDEA's director, Tom Brady, said he will be dispersing the DEI specialists into existing units as part of a "reconfiguration of talent."

"Department of Defense DEIA Strategic Plan, DoDEA reconfigured within the headquarters staff to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion expertise into key areas to continue addressing barriers to inclusion, closing gaps in representation, and incorporate the institutional insights we have gained over the past two years."

Hmm I'm thinking that "gutting" isn't quite the right way to describe what happened here.

And no, they're not just shuffling these folks off to obscure desk jobs in Micro-Systems. They're putting them in "four key divisions at headquarters," including "research, accountability and evaluation" and Human Resources.

The DEI push will continue, in other words. It's not going anywhere. It's as fully embedded in the Pentagon now as it is in your local public school district.

Almost as if the people running our military have fully embraced wokeism and are busy imposing it throughout every level of the Armed Services as part of a broader attempt to radically reshape society in the image of extremist left-wing ideology!
