Remember the 2020 Summer of Love? Remember how you had literal terrorist groups taking over large portions of Seattle and setting up the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) and the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone?

Nope, that never happened! The Seattle Times just told me so!

Yup, Trump LIED when he said protesters took over a large percentage of the city of Seattle in 2020!

Except, of course, it's not a lie.

Here's a story from literally the same newspaper covering the Capitol Hill Organized Protest in 2020.

So yeah, Trump is 100% correct. And The Seattle Times fact check doesn't even dispute it, in reality. They just think they can trick us with the headline or something.

Former President Donald Trump referenced Seattle's Capitol Hill Organized Protest during the presidential debate Tuesday night, falsely claiming protesters took over a big portion of the city ...

The zone's size fluctuated, but it essentially occupied about six city blocks surrounding the Seattle Police Department East Precinct building and Cal Anderson Park, extending east to 12th Avenue, west to Broadway, south to East Pine Street and north to East Denny Way.

So, an illegal protest took over SIX CITY BLOCKS, kept out police, kept out emergency services, saw at least one murder, occupied and surrounded the police department, and was a zone of total chaos.

CHAZ was even bigger, encompassing CHOP and even more of the city.

But Seattle's a big place, so it wasn't technically a "big portion," and so they came with the fact check.

The Seattle Times, based on this headline, is trying to gaslight you into believing that CHOP never happened.

But, oh, the wonderful reality based replies.
