And he's apparently running for Congress.

Offer Vince Shlomi, the once-prominent infomercial pitchman, is running for Congress in Texas, according to a filing with the state's Republican Party.
Shlomi is running for the seat held by Republican Rep. John Carter, 84, who has served more than two decades in Congress. Carter announced earlier this month he'd run for re-election, so Shlomi has an uphill battle against an entrenched incumbent.
So he's attempting to primary Republican John Carter, who is 84 and has been in Congress since 2003.
And here's what he told Fox News:
Shlomi told Fox News Digital in an interview Sunday that his decision to run for office was ultimately motivated by a desire to 'destroy wokeism' and as a tribute to the late Charlie Kirk, whom he called the original 'woke buster.' He added that the 'political infighting in the country' eventually inspired him to seek office and 'make America happy.'
Buuuut, let's not forget this:
In 2009, Shlomi was arrested on suspicion of battery after a fight with a woman, who was also arrested. Prosecutors declined to press charges. Shlomi told NBC News in an interview for a 2013 article that he takes "full responsibility" for his actions and that he would cut down on partying.
