The White House refused to pass out water to a bunch of governors so they wouldn't remove their masks to take sips while in the same room as President Biden

The Daily Mail on Tuesday came out with what is quite frankly a bombshell allegation regarding Joe Biden's recent meeting with the National Governors Association:

When President Joe Biden met with U.S. governors at the White House on Monday, he was the only one given a glass of water - lest anyone else remove their mask to take a drink.

That's a remarkable assertion, and if true it speaks volumes to how freakishly paralyzed the White House is at the thought of Biden catching the virus.

Bolstering the Daily Mail's allegation, People Magazine echoed the claim:

[Biden] was also the only one given a glass of water, so no one else had any reason to remove their mask.

So did ABC News, pulling from the Associated Press report cited by the Daily Mail.

That seems to be an acceptable amount of media corroboration, though it's easy enough to check and see that, yes, President Biden was apparently the only one with a glass of water at the meeting.

You can clearly see that Biden has access to a tall, full glass of water at the outset of the meeting:

Yet nary a glass was apparently to be found among the governors themselves:

If you ask me, the White House in doing this is sending a terrible message about vaccines and risk assessment. But that's their choice!
