I have seen enough of the show Bluey to know that it's the best children show created in DECADES, possibly ever.
There's no wokeness and there are no subversive characters. It's a normal mom and dad with normal kids and they do normal everyday things.
So, of course, you just knew the woke mob was going to try to take down Bluey somehow. And now we see them take their first stab at it.
ABC and the BBC have both edited an episode of Bluey because it's "fat shaming."
Australia's Emmy-winning kids' show Bluey is at the center of a row after the ABC and BBC Studios edited an episode to address concerns about fat shaming.
The Season 3 episode, titled Exercise, featured Bluey's father Bandit embarking on a fitness regime after he stands on the bathroom scales and grabs his paunch.
Viewers said it promoted toxic messaging about weight. Aussie Girl Margie, a TikTok user who has built a following analyzing Bluey, said: "Apparently, Bluey is totally OK with fat shaming now."
Oh no! How insensitive and unwoke to show Bluey's dad being a little overweight and wanting to exercise to get rid of his gut!
Lord forbid we tell people it might be good to hop on the treadmill!
It's no shock that fat feminists on TikTok are complaining about this, but the fact that the BBC and ABC took the complaint seriously and edited the episode is shameful.
Live look at the network execs who made this stupid call:
Telling kids that fatness is just a condition and they have no control over their weight is wrong.
It's setting them up for misery in life.
Pediatric dietitian Dr Kyla Ringrose wrote: "Watching Bandit and Chilli weigh themselves and openly hate on their bodies in front of the kids was really uncomfortable."
Do you know what else is really uncomfortable? A life of being obese.
I'm not a fat shamer or someone who would make fun of a person with a weight issue. But this "fat pride" movement is evil, anti-human, and disgusting. Its proponents should be shamed.
