One of these conjoined twins got married to her dream man and it has the internet talking
· Mar 29, 2024 · NottheBee.com

Abby and Brittany Hensel are conjoined twins, and you might have seen them on their TLC reality show, "Abby & Brittany" back in 2012.

Abby and Brittany have been living private lives since the show aired, so private, in fact, that the news has just dropped that Abby was married in 2021.

That's Abby and her husband, U.S. Army vet Josh Bowling. The internet has been squawking (as it does) about the whole thing, which is why the couple probably decided to wait years to make their marriage known.

Abby and Josh kept their marriage under wraps from the public eye until 2023, when they shared photos of the wedding ceremony on their TikTok.

A little bit of info on Abby and Brittany:

The duo originally appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1996, explaining their lives as conjoined twins.

They were born as dicephalus conjoined twins, a rare condition when two heads are on a single body with one genital system; two, three or four arms, two hearts and two legs.

The Helsen twins share a bloodstream and all organs below the waist. Abby controls their right arm and leg and Brittany controls the left side.

When Abby and Brittany were born in 1990, their parents, Patty and Mike Hensel, opted out of separation surgery because doctors said there was a small chance the girls would survive the operation, "Today" reported.

Abby and Brittany are now 5th grade teachers in their home state of Minnesota.

The twins have talked about the possibility of being moms, but for now, Abby is the stepmom to Josh's child from a previous relationship.

The internet is going to talk (please keep the comment section civil, please), but we hope the best for them.
