Memphis Officer Joseph McKinney was killed this morning in a shootout with a man who had been released without bail ... after being caught with a machine gun in a stolen car

One officer is dead. Two are injured. One of the perps that shot at them on Friday morning had just been released without bail. That young man is also dead as a result of the gunfight.

You hate to see this. Absolutely hate to see this. The 18-year-old man and his 17-year-old friend not only killed a police officer, but the 18-year-old himself is dead. This boggles the mind on so many levels.

A Memphis police officer and a teenage suspect were killed after gunfire erupted in Whitehaven early Friday, police said.

Interim Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis identified the officer killed as Joseph McKinney, who joined the department in 2020 and was assigned to Raines Station. She said a second officer was in non-critical condition at Regional One. A third officer was grazed by a bullet during the shooting and treated at the scene, police said …

Police said the officers were shot at when they approached a suspicious car around 2 a.m. Friday, April 12, at Horn Lake Road and Charter Avenue. They returned fire, striking the two suspects, police said.

Can't wait to see how the media can spin this as the officers using excessive force once the body cam is released.

The officers, even though they were being shot at, should've used their tasers or possibly Taekwondo. This is an obvious case of racist police brutality and there should be protests in the streets.

Oh, here's the 100% surprising kicker that nobody could've predicted:

Police also said the 18-year-old was arrested in March with a Glock switch, charged with stealing two cars before being released without bond.

This is the 18-year-old. Unfortunately, I doubt you will see his face on any mainstream reports because of the disgraceful state of our media.

Kid gets let off easy, and then when he's out late at night, probably committing more crimes, he goes and guns down the officers who arrive on the scene to investigate him.

I'm so sick of seeing stuff like this.

If you're a prosecutor, do your job. Your job is to keep criminals off the street. Very simple stuff.

R.I.P., Officer McKinney.

I'll leave this here for you as well:
