Well guys, it looks like we're in for a bit of a wait when it comes to achieving that holy grail of wokism we call "gender equality," according to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, who delivered a General Assembly speech yesterday.
Apparently, despite all of the advancements of the past century or so, gender equality is actually going backwards now. Yep, that's right, despite all the hard work, we're actually regressing according to the U.N. Dangit.
In fact, on the current track, the United Nations puts gender equality a whopping ... 300 years away! And no, I'm not joking:
"Gender equality is growing more distant," the balloon-headed bureaucrat Guterres said yesterday. "On the current track, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women puts it 300 years away."
That's longer than America has been a country. 🤣
As evidence for this insane claim, Guterres cited abortion rights and the new Taliban rule in Afghanistan (which he can thank oh-so-pro-woman Joe Biden for).
Here's a video if you still don't believe me:
Sree hundred years away, you heard it yourself.
So what's the solution, according to Guterres and the United Nations? This:
Guterres called on world governments, civil society organizations and private sector groups to launch initiatives on gender equality, including increasing education, income and employment for women and girls and encouraging world leaders to promote women's and girls' full participation and leadership in science and technology.
"It calls for gender-responsive education and skills training, algorithms that align with human rights and gender equality and investment in bridging the digital gender divide," Guterres said. "More than ever, we need collective action by Governments, civil society, the private sector and the technology community."
In other words: Socialism, globalism, and neo-Marxist social engineering. Wow, didn't see that one coming!
"Women and girls will not be silenced. Their demands for their rights and freedoms echo around the globe," Guterres said.
Translation: If you can convince enough people that they are perpetual victims, no matter how that accords with reality, you can get them to give you the power and money to do whatever you want.
