This is pretty crazy stuff right here, and never would I ever get involved in any type of storm chasing after watching this.

Shot in Central Illinois, this video was released a few weeks ago, but it happened all the way back in April. Watch storm chaser Tanner Charles and his buddies chase down this tornado and then get trapped between fallen power line poles as the tornado turned on them.

I love that the guy says a quick little prayer to Jesus. Definitely a time to call for help, and it looks like it paid off.

This was a EF-3-scale tornado, which sees wind gusts of up to 165 mph, so you can imagine how scary that must've been. Like, can you imagine if they'd gotten out and ran for the ditch like one of the guys suggested? Dudes woulda been toast.

I mean, look at the car:

Wild!

Amazing they made it out of there without serious injury.

Anyhow, I bet these guys'll be right back out there next spring to catch them some more footage. Storm chasers are built differently, man.
