Kimberly Strable just earned her doctorate, but unlike most of people in that elite educational tier, she's only 17 years old.

Here she is talking about the accomplishment and her desire to get involved in business leadership:

Can you imagine the conversations around her dinner table?

Mother: "Hey Kimberly, can you pass the potatoes please?"

Kimberly: "It's doctor, thank you."

Strable earned her degree from California Intercontinental University in business administration.

"I'm the third youngest in world history to ever get a doctorate in any subject, the youngest in all world history to ever get a doctorate in business and the youngest in American history to get a doctorate in any field," she said.

Her older sister also earned a master's degree the day after she turned 18, and her younger siblings are on track for fast-tracked studies as well.

Here's what her dad, Greg, had to say:

"While she was going through her doctorate, we worked hard, too, to make sure when she was test-taking and things like that, we would be quiet at certain times and we'd make sure that she had every bit of support that she needed. We don't push the kids, we encourage the kids. If they're feeling ready, then we're ready to explore that with them."

What an awesome family.
