This kept popping up on my feed this morning:
Who is Simon Ateba, you ask?
I recognized him as the African news reporter who actually asks the White House press secretary real questions:
Because he has the gall to hold the most powerful position on the planet to account, Karine Jean-Pierre won't call on him. She hasn't called on him for months.
I love it.
Simon must be right over the target, because the Left is furious with him. Look at the headlines:
Here were the harpies on The View getting all flustered at the man who refuses to go along with the program:
Simon's response was perfect:
The way this guy talks reminds me of a certain someone else.
A certain orange someone.
He walks right up to the insult and then just leaves it hanging there in your mind with a question.
Notice that the Left was never angry when their reporters broke decorum to yell at Trump:
A double standard indeed. One that has led many of us to loathe the corporate press.
Here was Simon's segment with Benny Johnson where he talks about how the White House screens questions to make sure none are too hostile:
Besides Peter Doocy, Simon might be the only other journalist in the White House press corps. Judging by his 60,000 new followers, some of you must think so too.
