This archer just set a new world record for most consecutive arrows shot through a keyhole that would make Odysseus proud

Danish archer Lars Andersen is out of this world — a once in a generation archer at the least. His skills are so incredible, I must stop here to leave you a link to his YouTube page so you can see more of what he does.

But enough talk about these skills, here's Lars breaking the world record for most consecutive arrows shot through a keyhole.

Amazing, right?!?

You couldn't hit a single one of those if you sat there for an hour with an unlimited supply of arrows!

Only someone like the Greek hero Odysseus, who had to shoot an arrow through the gaps in 12 axe heads in The Odyssey, might be able to do that.

But Lars… Lars don't mess around!

On June 1, 2022, Lars Andersen successfully shot seven consecutive arrows through a keyhole in a door. He used a traditional bow to fire all seven arrows from approximately 30 feet away…

As noted in the minute-long video, the keyhole was less than a centimeter wide, leaving just a few millimeters of wiggle room for his arrows. Andersen notes in the video's caption that he's shooting carbon arrows with no feathers to ensure a full pass-through.

That's a tight squeeze, and I'm thinking this record will stand until Anderson breaks it again.

It'll be a century or more before anyone else comes around shooting like Lars Anderson.
