This Brit broke out of prison in November and decided to come out of hiding to buy the new Call of Duty game … it ended as you might imagine: He was taken down by police and yes, there’s body cam footage

This is beautiful.

Okay, let's start here: this British guy—sure, let's say his name: Clint Butler—he escaped from prison back in November.

But this wasn't just any prison. I want to give it a closer look.

So this bro escaped from Spring Hill open prison in Buckinghamshire. And let me just define "open prison" so we all know what that means.

According to Wikipedia, an open prison is:

Any jail in which the prisoners are trusted to complete their sentences with minimal supervision and perimeter security and are often not locked up in their prison cells.

So yeah, you've noticed how dumb that is. Nuff said.

Let's go even deeper though: this dude had already completed 14 years of his 17-year sentence!

I'm sorry, but dude, like WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?!?!

JUST LET IT EXPIRE!

COME ON!

Well, whatever, he escaped. And I'm sure it was REEAAAALLLY DIFFICULT…

But then—oh man, this is really stupid—but then this guy, a fugitive, decided it was super important to go out in public during strict lockdown… TO BUY THE NEW CALL OF DUTY GAME!!!

THAT'S THE REASON YOU'RE OUT AND ABOUT???

GET IT TOGETHER BRO!!!

So Clint and his boy hit up the local video game shop to get the new game, but they notice some police nearby and start acting suspicious (amateurs). The rest is best described in body cam footage:

Dude, you should've just finished your sentence.
