VICE tried to make a sympathy piece about how sex offenders can be trusted to live in society and this absolutely perfect clip shows how that went
· Sep 28, 2022 · NottheBee.com

This clip from a VICE documentary that tries to garner sympathy for sex offenders is absolutely [chef's kiss] perfect.

Here's the shot:

And the chaser:

Sex offender: "Like, we all out here in this world, and we all gotta make it happen and ain't nothing stopping me so like, I'm very hopeful and confident."

Female voiceover: "After this interview, Asheef sent a picture of his penis to our producer.

Wait, you mean to tell me that this sex offender that you are trying to rehabilitate sexually harassed your producer?

Say it isn't so!

Who could have seen this coming?

If you think this is shocking, just wait until you see the follow-up.

[Warning: Language]

On the one hand you could argue that it's not relevant to the injustice that Asheef faced at the hands of the state, all the years of dead time that he served. You know that's really what our story was about.

I think, just maybe, this entire incident proved that whatever punishment Asheef was given by the state DIDN'T WORK!

She's still trying to rehabilitate this perverted man's image.

This seemed like an important fact to note about Asheef, who is a complex person. And this is part of his complexity.

He's a complex person, you see? He has a lot of interests. But he also likes exposing himself to people and sexually harassing them.

Again, what in the world did they expect?
