This condescending Don Lemon interview was reportedly the last straw that got him fired from CNN

This interview from Wednesday in which Don Lemon excoriated Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy in an extremely condescending manner for daring to speak about black people things without himself being black was reportedly the last straw that convinced CNN brass to give him the boot:

Notice Lemon's complete exasperation that anyone would dare disagree with his flavor of CRT/Marxist thought. Also note how extremely uncomfortable his white co-host was throughout the exchange.

  • "Black people still aren't allowed to enjoy their freedoms..."
  • "OK, when you are in black skin, and you live in this country, then you can disagree with me."
  • "The fact that I find insulting is that you are sitting here telling an African-American ... about the skin I live in every day, and I know the freedoms that black people don't have in this country."
  • "I think it's insulting that you're sitting here, whatever ethnicity you are, 'splaining' to me about what it is like to be black in America."

Classic Don Lemon right there. Delusional, self-important, coastal-elite babble with some racism tossed in and sprinkled with a little persecution complex.

According to the New York Times:

In recent weeks, CNN leaders were hopeful that Mr. Lemon would adjust to his new morning-show role and that higher ratings would follow.

On Wednesday, however, Mr. Lemon made headlines again after a highly contentious on-air exchange with Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican presidential candidate. The segment deteriorated as the men fiercely debated questions of Black history and the Second Amendment; Mr. Lemon's co-anchor Ms. Harlow could be seen sitting silently beside him, at times casting her gaze elsewhere and scrolling through her smartphone.

The incident left several CNN leaders exasperated, the people said.

Poor Don Lemon. Even after getting fired, I assure you he's sitting somewhere right now perplexed as to why everyone just can't see how right he is.
