You'll never guess the legal status of this dude named Miguel who allegedly hit up a 13-year-old girl on Instagram and tried to meet up with her coming out of school for a potential kidnapping.

Obviously, the lesson here is not to let your kids have Instagram! Oh, and there's another lesson: Maybe the government shouldn't let everyone and their brother cross the border with no restrictions whatsoever!

Yeah, you guessed it, 21-year-old Miguel Angel Vega Sedano is in the country illegally.

I mean, yeah, we let him in. And he even had forged documents making him look legal. But this military-aged male "refugee" and "newcomer" decided to come to America to hit up 13-year-old girls.

The parent had found "numerous messages over social media" between her 13-year-old daughter and Sedano, according to a statement of probable cause. The messages reportedly showed that Sedano was on his way to the school to meet up with the girl.

Granite Police found Sedano in a vehicle on school property and detained him, the affidavit states. Police also found Sedano to be in possession of a fraudulent social security card and fraudulent U.S. permanent resident card.

Sedano gave police permission to search his Instagram account where they found the chain of messages exchanged with the 13-year-old girl.

While authorities were arresting Sedano, it was discovered that he was carrying around a fake social security card and permanent resident card. He claimed that his uncle in Arizona had given them to him.

It has since been revealed that Sedano is a citizen of Peru. He is currently being held in custody at Salt Lake City County Jail as the investigation continues.

So now Sedano has been charged with child kidnapping and forgery for the fake documents used.

I'm glad that Utah has the common sense to keep people like Miguel here in jail during investigations, unlike New York.

But until red states like Utah just throw the middle finger up to the feds and start taking out the trash and deporting these monsters, this kind of story is only going to become more common.
