Some folks build bookshelf models of their favorite cars. Others...well, others do this:

The base car is a Cadillac Eldorado. Whoever originally ordered it provided it to Miller-Meteor, the coach finishing company. I bought it in 2017.

I paid my shop, Christian Brothers Automotive, close to $20,000 for the big mechanical stuff I could not do myself: rebuild the engine, transmission, cooling system, upgrading the carburetor, a generator being turned into an alternator and adding power steering...

I rewired it from top to bottom; I redid all the lining. All the lighting was converted to LED, which was painstaking because they don't make LED bulbs to fit into 50-year-old Cadillac housing. I used standard firetruck red and white paint.

It was very important to get it running, and running well. I really wanted to drive this car, just like in the movie. The Ghostbusters didn't trailer their car to a job and unload it.

Also apparently a...Flux Capacitor? Pretty sure that was from Back to the Future. But who cares?

Does this guy have a few screws loose? Perhaps. But you gotta admire the dedication.
