This headline on abortion is real and it makes my heart break for America

On Monday, the Washington Monthly magazine decided it doesn't just want a moderate approach to "reproductive rights," but for our nation to "go big" when it comes to getting rid of "unwanted" children:

Yes, that is a real headline. Gone are the days of "safe, legal, and rare," when we at least pretended America would have some decorum when it came to the gruesome topic of ending babies' lives.

Mind you, this isn't a fringe outlet that's part of the community that enjoys #Shouting their abortions. This is a 50-year-old magazine that's billed as "center-left" in its bias and has readers like "The Hulk" actor Mark Ruffalo:

The article isn't just celebrating the fact that Biden has already adopted the most extreme position on abortion of any administration. They want more. They want him to go big.

Here's what the article says:

"If you have an unwanted or unviable pregnancy, access to abortion is infrastructure. It can make or break your economic security and your health. About one in four women will have an abortion during their lifetime. Yet, thanks to decades of coordinated attacks from abortion opponents, most U.S. counties don't have an abortion provider."

Darn those pro-lifers and their tenacious defense of infants and the sacredness of human life!

"Republican state lawmakers have already filed over 500 bills to restrict abortion this year, compared to over 300 by the same time in 2019. This includes outright abortion bans that defy Roe v. Wade—a deliberate strategy to hand the Supreme Court a case that would overturn the landmark ruling."

You're telling me that people who fear God might dare to "defy" a court ruling that legalizes murder for specific cases? Who would have thought?

Here's the best and most ridiculous sentence in the article:

"The abortion pill is safer than Tylenol but more heavily regulated than fentanyl."

"Safe." You know, in that it literally kills a human being by starving them of nutrients. That kind of "safe."

"Even Biden's biggest moves are just initial steps—promising ones, of course, but also the minimum of what's expected from a pro-choice administration. They're not enough to meet the moment."

What kind of "moment," you may ask?

Why, pushing legislation that would nullify all state laws protecting the unborn, repealing the Hyde Amendment so taxpayers can directly fund abortions nationwide, and using his presidential platform to remind Americans that the death of kids is no biggie:

"He can and should use his trademark empathy and relatability to remind voters of the human reality of abortion, something he's done often when it comes to sexual assault survivors and the transgender community. He can tell everyone who needs an abortion and is struggling to get one, 'I've got your back.'"

Regardless of your stance, can you think of any other topic where we are talking about the loss of human life where "go big" is acceptable and right?? Abortion is not the same as supporting survivors of assault or those struggling with identity issues. It scientifically ends a human life.

What we are talking about is not a laissez-faire, mind-your-own-business approach. We are talking about the promotion of killing children. You can euphemize it all you want, but that's what's on the table. This is advertising abortion as a national institution to be endeared and celebrated as "infrastructure."

Better put, it's making the death of babies a holy sacrament of the new American religion.

If Biden is able to "go big" on this issue without pushback, our nation is truly lost.
