Takis tortilla chips say "Fuego" right on the bag, so it shouldn't be surprising that when Springfield, Missouri, woman Patricia Williams decided she was going to burn down a house, she admitted to using Takis to start the blaze.

Well, Takis and $2 of gasoline she had poured into a soda bottle at the local gas station. She poured the gasoline on some clothes in the laundry room of the house and used the Takis to ignite the fire.

Those things have enough oil in them to work just like a tiny candle.

See for yourself:

When Williams was arrested at the scene, she was also found to have several outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court. There was no mention of why Williams had targeted the house.

There were three people in the house at the time, and one of them was wheelchair bound, but thankfully, they all made it out of the house, and no one was injured.

Humorously, according to court documents the arresting officer wasn't convinced that she used Takis to start the house on fire and conducted his own "field test."

During my investigation, I located a green soda bottle and an open bag of Takis chips in the kitchen near the laundry room. The soda bottle had a strong odor of an ignitable liquid emitting from the inside, and I determined the Takis chips could support a flame during a field flammability test.

Williams was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Imagine explaining why you're doing more than a decade in jail for setting a house on fire with snack food!
