This is a real headline from a socialist magazine. It is not The Babylon Bee.

Look at that headline...

This is exactly why this here website you're visiting exists.

Stuff like this pays my bills, and I appreciate it. I just cannot believe we are at a point in time where "You Know Who Else Opposed Vaccine Mandates? Hitler." is a headline I'm supposed to take seriously. This sounds like a headline that should've been pitched directly to Kyle Mann at The Babylon Bee.

You can click on that article and read it if you want, but basically the dude argues that the vaccine mandate cannot possibly be fascist, as some on the right have argued, because Hitler and the Nazis relaxed time-tested vaccine requirements in Germany. The Nazis figured more people would die without vaccines, which would technically help the world because those would be undesirable people and we would save time on, you know, sterilizing them (or worse).

So Republican anti-vaxxers are now Hitler and they want themselves to die so they can rule the world. Sounds plausible.

Technically the author of this piece is right, though: Hitler did oppose vaccine mandates. So bravo, bro. Your headline is not only hilarious, it's true! Just not quite as true as you wanted it to be.

To close, I'd just like to point out one thing that Hitler never did: Hitler never funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
