Oh look: The designer of AOC's stupid "Tax the Rich" dress is rich and owes over $100K in back taxes ๐Ÿ˜‚

A demagogue socialist that doesn't pay their fair share in taxes... Who could've seen this coming?

Aurora James, the designer for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's ridiculous "Tax The Rich" dress for the 2021 Met Gala, has a reported net worth of $2 million.

I guess she's not "rich" enough to pay the THOUSANDS of dollars she owes in unpaid taxes. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

(FYI: James is the woman dressed in white that accompanied AOC on the gala red carpet.)

James' fashion brand, Brother Vellies, "racked up three open tax warrants in New York state for failing to withhold income taxes from employees' paychecks totaling $14,798 ... which were incurred before the pandemic," the New York Post reported.

Her pretentiously titled LLC, Cultural Brokerage Agency, the parent company to Brother Vellies, also got into even deeper doo-doo between April 2018 and April 2019.

"The Internal Revenue Service placed six federal liens on Cultural Brokerage Agency totaling $103,220. The liens specifically cite the company's failure to remit employee payroll taxes," the NY Post reported.

The Blaze reports her company "purportedly received $41,666 in pandemic relief aid from the government." Given James's bad financial track record, my guess is that money wasn't well spent by her.

Maybe it went toward paying the $30,000 ticket for the gala. She'd still have $11,666 leftover!

An anonymous former employee also described James' company as a "sweatshop that relied on legions of unpaid interns working full-time jobs."

A socialist treating workers like slaves? Hmm, where have I heard that before? ๐Ÿค”
