This video was taken in 2019 at a campaign event in Muscatine, Iowa, where Kamala was discussing the pharmaceutical industry.

Kamala: 'A lot of drugs, prescription medications, was born out of federal funding for the research and development of that drug. Your taxpayer dollars. So for any drug where they fail to play by their own rules and if the drug came out because of federal funding for what is called R&D, I will snatch their patent so that we will take over.'

[Audience chuckles nervously]

Kamala: 'Yes, we can do that. Yes we can do that. The question is, "Do you have the will to do it?" I have the will to do it.'

Kamala has a view of power that our Founding Fathers urgently warned against. And while others like Biden and Obama have used their own ambitious egos to claim power they do not have, Kamala lacks even their levels of discretion and restraint.
