Some mysteries are so vexing, so puzzling, and so beyond the reach of mere mortals, that you can safely assume they'll never be solved — such as why this lady is struggling to find gainful employment:
Melissa Sloan, 46, who hails from Wales in the United Kingdom, previously had a job cleaning toilets but says she hasn't been able to find a similar gig because of the art that adorns her face and body.
"I can't get a job," Sloan bluntly told the Daily Star. "I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won't have me because of my tattoos."
That's just terrible. A lady not being hired because of her tattoos? Is it a few stylish designs on her arm? Maybe a peace symbol on her neck?
Oh. Oh. Okay.
Eh. Er. Um, all right.
Oh! Okay then.
Well, that's rough. Can't anything be done about it now, I guess. But no doubt this lady is soberly reflecting on her rather bizarre life choices and is at least determined to pump the brakes on the tattoo thing, right?
"I'd like to be a record holder, it's just something different," she declared. "I'm trying to get into the Guinness Book of Records."
