This past weekend's "No Kings" protest was supposed to be a massive grassroots uprising against Trump.
What we got instead was way more hilarious.
I mean, come on. Isn't this elder abuse?
Some protests had large numbers - tens of thousands of people turned out to events in cities like Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles:
But outside of major city centers (where their protests were largely ignored by the rest of the population), the gatherings were a bit sad.
Consider this they/them who was the only person to show up at a rally in Kansas:

This poor, terrified 74-year-old who clearly watches too much cable news:
In Utah, the "No Kings" rally was forced to disperse after some leftist-on-leftist violence:
We were able to find one black person at a "No Kings" rally, but she was a Trump supporter. The geriatric liberals called her "colored woman."

And we can't leave out teachers' union boss Randi Weingarten giving this absolutely unhinged speech at a rally:
The protests ultimately didn't fail because they didn't have numbers, but because no one outside the protesters cares about their dumb message.

Then again, maybe the protests did work. We don't have a king, do we?
