This Maryland mayor wants to use tax dollars to fight deportation efforts

I've gotta tell you, I did not see just how committed, how mindlessly sycophantic the libs were about illegal immigrants.

We've had the Mayor of Denver, Colorado, say he'd go to jail to keep illegal immigrants in his city ...

And now we've got this dude, the mayor of Frederick, Maryland, saying that he wants to use the taxpayer dollar to fight deportation efforts.

O'Connor said he intends to allocate the money to organizations already providing similar legal services, helping them expand the number of people they're able to support. Although, he's still determining the exact dollar amount to set aside.

Understandably, the news crew couldn't find a single citizen of Frederick, no matter how pro-illegal immigration they were, to support using their tax dollars to fund illegal alien advocacy groups.

I love the dude Ryan's response. It doesn't get more real than this:

You break the law, it's just what happens. Nobody helped me pay for my attorney fees when I break the law. So, why should we be paying for theirs out of taxpayer money?

That's a very good question, Ryan.

The city council would have to approve the measure (good luck), but the very fact that a mayor thinks this would be a good use of the Marylanders' tax dollar is quite comical.
