I've seen some pretty intricate versions of Uno, but this one has got to be the most brutal.
Dubbed "Show ‘Em No Mercy," this version of Uno is either going to be your favorite or the version you hate most. With cards like the Wild Reverse Draw 4, the Draw 6, the Draw 10 (yes, 10 cards!), the Discard All (players must discard all cards that match the color of this one), and the Skip Everyone Card, where you essentially get 2 turns in a row, this game is bound to cause some problems.
New rules have been added as well:
The game also has some new rules, such as the swapping 7s and passing 0s, along with making stacking an official rule.
But what makes this game brutal is the new Mercy Rule.
This rule states that any players who have 25 or more cards are automatically kicked from the game and eliminated. This allows players to potentially win by being the last one standing.
Not sure why they put a mercy rule in the Show ‘Em No Mercy pack, but I'm already over it because this looks like a fun time.
Obviously no game is going to be better than the OG Uno, but this one looks like a lot of fun. I'll maybe have to pick up a pack before Thanksgiving so I can tell everyone I'm thankful for beating their bottoms at No Mercy Uno.
We'll see if the in-laws let me stick around after that one.
