What has gotten into people these days? Like, I see zero respect for police out there.

It's almost like someone has taught us that police are the bad guys and they don't deserve credit for what they do.

Like, look at this lady out in NYC. She straight up ran over a police officer simply because he wouldn't let her drive down a closed street. Seriously, that was her story.

That lady has a degree in criminal justice and she just plowed into that man!

Unreal!

These officers were out there investigating a high-end retail robbery and had the street shut down, but this lady is so important — the main character if you will — that she just had to get through. You'd think with a criminal justice background you'd know that when police shut down a roadway it's not a good idea to drive on that roadway.

Anyhow:

The driver who struck a policeman at a Manhattan crime scene told authorities it was intentional, adding, "F - k these cops, it's a lesson to him,'' sources said Friday — with the mow-down caught on shocking video.

Sahara Dula — a 24-year-old Brooklynite whose lawyer said mentors kids to stay off drugs — was driving her black Lexus the wrong way on the Upper East Side while high on marijuana Wednesday when she barreled into the NYPD officer, officials and sources said.

"I told the cop I wanted to go straight, and he wouldn't move, so I hit him. I did it on purpose,'' Dula later told investigators, according to court papers.

And even though she admitted to doing this on purpose she will not be charged with attempted murder.

Dula was charged with first-degree attempted assault, attempted aggravated assault upon a police officer, second-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and operating a vehicle while ability impaired by drugs and reckless driving, according to the criminal complaint.

The officer suffered a broken leg as a result of the collision.

You can bet New York City's gonna give Dula what they're giving all murderous perps these days: A nice little slap on the wrist.
