That poor dog. Someone needs to sneak her some bacon, stat.

By the way, for all those woke people who like to "follow the science," your dog has sharp, dagger-like teeth because they are designed for tearing apart other animals from limb to limb.

(We used to call observations like this "common sense.")

The only reason dogs don't eat straight meat is because the wolves that eventually became domesticated dogs were the ones with larger amounts of enzyme amylase in their gut – allowing them to survive off scraps of the typical human diet. Even then, dogs don't excrete the enzymes in their saliva like we do.

(Be thankful God gave us amylase the next time you tear into donuts with apple cider this fall!)

Technically, your pup can survive on a very expensive diet that uses various protein powders and other supplements, but many veggies/fruits like avocados, grapes, tomatoes, and onions are downright toxic for dogs.

And in the end, you'll be sentencing them to a miserable existence devoid of bacon and happiness (but I repeat myself).
