Every year folks gather at the Egremont Crab Fair in Cumbria, England, to see who can make the most grotesque face in the World Gurning Championships.

For the last 18 years, that grand champion has been a man named Tommy Mattison.

There was some question whether Mattinson was going to be able to contort himself into yet another victory.

Just look at this competition:

But in the end, no one is as grotesque as Tommy Mattison.

I mean, talk about a lady-killer:

On pulling down yet another Gurning championship, Mattison said,

I feel ecstatic and overwhelmed, just so happy to have won. It's great to be back after COVID and the death of Her Majesty. But, no matter how many times you win you want to win that competition on the night.

I'm just chuffed to bits, and tired, it takes a lot out of you, you don't even realise.
