You might be too distracted by those missing F-35 memes to have seen this, but here's a fun CNN interview with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley:

What a guy.

I guess he hasn't studied enough "white rage" to figure out what "woke" means yet.

What I see is a military that's exceptionally strong. It's powerful; it's ready. In fact, our readiness rates, the way we measure readiness, is better now than they've been in years

Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who announced he will retire at the end of this month, said the U.S. military is actually in better shape now than in years past.

"This is a military that's dedicated to maintaining our readiness, our capabilities, our lethality. And the thing that we also need to focus on is the modernization for the future character of war that I see fundamentally changing," Milley said.

"This military is a lot of things, but woke, it's not. So I take exception to that. I think that people say those things for reasons that are their own reasons, but it's not true. It's not accurate," he continued. "It's not a broad-brush description of the U.S. military as it exists today."

We haven't even scratched the surface on Not The Bee articles detailing how woke the military has gotten over the past few years, but perhaps Milley is technically right. Broadly speaking, even the armchair warriors at the Pentagon aren't as flaming woke as a Harvard gender studies professor. The good ol' boys getting blown up so Biden can leave weapons for the Taliban certainly aren't.

Fair enough. But what the military has become is the enforcement arm of woke ideology. The top brass are woke-lite, but they are 100% on-board with the Uniparty directive to protect the power and beliefs of the elite, and that means dabbling in the rainbow-climate-Pfizer cult (this is why eliminating the dissenters over the vax was so useful to them).

After all, Milley himself believed Trump was basically Hitler reincarnated while serving under the man.

If Milley is telling the truth and he doesn't understand how the military has become the muscle for the Uniparty under his watch, then he's wildly out of touch with literally everything happening all around us on a global scale - and he has been for at least a decade at minimum.

Is that supposed to inspire confidence that he knows how to keep America safe?
