Nala was celebrated by the media as a top OnlyFans porn creator. The New York Post (I won't link to articles in this story since they all feature racy images of her) reported that Nala was earning $300,000 a month. She had over a million "followers" and 7,000 men who subscribed to her channel.

She was featured on podcasts such as "Whatever" and "I Love Cheating" (apparently that's an actual thing...) and a host of other platforms that wanted to use her digital prostitution to sell their own brands.

In 2021, the Mirror reported how the Illinois pastor's daughter "broke free from strict church life to become a liberated sex worker" and became "a millionaire complete with her very own Los Angeles mansion."

That's peak feminism right there: Free from the Patriarchy and all its rules and obligations, a young woman makes her fortune and rides off into the sunset as a liberated queen.

I got a job as a breakfast waitress and I'd flirt outrageously for tips. I was obsessed with the attention I could get in a skimpy outfit ... Even then, as a 16-year-old pastor's daughter, I knew that sex work would be my calling.

After the family moved to Florida and she graduated, she became a dental hygiene assistant, but in 2019 when someone suggested she do OnlyFans, she learned quickly that she could make a fortune at it.

In her first month, Nala raked in $85,000 (£61,000), prompting her to quit her job as a dental assistant to focus on creating content full-time.

After just a year, she was able to buy her own home - a mansion with a pool in LA, where she lives with her assistant, Shane, and her two dogs, Simba, a Pom-Chi crossbreed and Nova, a Pomeranian.

Many people throughout history have believed the same thing and found out that's a dead-end filled with despair and suffering.

Why include all these details for a random internet video?

Many times, these little soundbites cross our feed and we react based on our gut instincts. The comments on this video are filled with people arguing about whether she is sincere or not.

So instead of doing that (because really, it's not lying to us that she needs to worry about, but lying to God), I wanted to dig into where she came from and where she's going.

Her OnlyFans account is gone. So is her X account with all sorts of sexual stuff on it.

Three months ago, she posted a video of her being baptized, along with this message:

That's a step showing heart change.

If she's like many who grew up in the shallow waters of American Bapti-costalism, there's a difficult road ahead. You can say that you were being trapped by religion (as the Bible calls it, "the Law") and that you realize you need Jesus Christ to free you from bondage to both the Law and your own blatant rebellion.

But many who go down that path today, in this world of "self empowerment" try to carve a Jesus of their own making. The megachurches are full of such people. But you can't do that. Even the demons know what the Bible says and that Jesus is Lord. You won't be saved by verses or good deeds and you can't cherry pick what you give up for Him. It's either the world or Him.

From what I can tell, Nala here isn't going through a Lil' Nas X "Christian era" where she's aging out of porn and wants to rebrand herself as a good girl again before pivoting to another grift.

All I see is genuine joy, like the prostitute who wept and was forgiven at Jesus' feet.
