We're going to keep reporting on this as long as we have to. But my goodness, I wish we didn't have to:
A 27-year-old Little Rock-area woman who was arrested on child-sex crime allegations is revealed to be a trans nonbinary activist following an exclusive investigation by The Post Millennial.
Regina Mai Allen, who goes by the trans alias 'Ringo M. Valentine,' was arrested on Feb. 8 and booked into the Saline County Detention Center on 20 felony counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing child sex abuse content.
As an aside, we usually correct the pronoun reporting in cases like these โ while many outlets may refer to individuals by their chosen transgender pronouns, we always opt for their actual, real pronouns. But in this case, Regina Allen does appear to be a woman โ she has posted about "top surgery" and taking testosterone, which would seem to indicate she is in fact female.
In any event, some shots of this luminary activist in her chosen garb:
Nothing alarming or worrisome there, most definitely.
Here's her booking photo, meanwhile, from the Saline County Sheriff's Office:
I guess they don't allow makeup in mug shots!
Allen was charged with "possession or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child." Her bail was set at $150,000.
Hopefully her judge doesn't continue the practice of giving her an absolute sweetheart plea deal in connection with these horrific crimes:
Maybe it's time we started drawing some pretty reasonable conclusions from this phenomenon? Maybe?
