Well, this seems like straight-up treason.
Trump's ICE was planning a large-scale operation to arrest members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, but that option may have been hindered by a leak from the FBI, which sent out a warning about the operation and gave the gang time to escape.
Border czar Tom Homan confirmed the leak likely came from inside the FBI and that they were conducting a full criminal investigation.
Homan also emphasized how the leaks not only help these criminals escape, but they endanger the lives of the police:
This is not a game. To have this type of interference puts our officers at great risk.
Tren de Aragua is linked to the famous apartment takeovers in Aurora, Colorado.
