Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua has such a vested interest in entering the United States that they're actually now attacking border agents in the United States and Mexico in order to get into America before Trump takes office.
They've got 20 days, and they're going to take advantage as much as they can of Biden's open border. And if border agents get in the way, they're being attacked by the gang.
Knife-wielding Tren de Aragua gang members are mobbing border crossings at El Paso, Texas, in an attempt to break into the US — and have said they will attack border guards who try to stop them, according to a shocking Texas law enforcement memo leaked to The Post.
Last week, 20 of the Venezuelan gangbangers — armed with blades, tire irons and broken liquor bottles — tried to force their way into the US at a border gate, the missive from the Texas Department of Public Safety read.
Another attempt to break through is expected for New Year's Day, the memo warned.
I found another story on the New York Post's feed which has Tren de Aragua written all over it, but isn't a confirmed case of the gang and their violence.
The federal agent, identified as Luis Alberto Olivas García, was ambushed Monday at a checkpoint in the northern state of Chihuahua, across the border from El Paso, Texas, according to Mexico's National Migration Institute.
The slain immigration agent suffered an apparent head injury in the assault, with his body also showing 'signs of violence,' authorities said.
Two Venezuelan men were taken into custody later Monday, according to state investigators.
I'm taking a wild guess based on the nationality of these boys along with their violence against the border patrol agent that they belong right here in this Tren de Aragua story.
A Colombian national was also arrested by Mexican authorities.
Back to Texas, where they're expecting more of these attacks starting tomorrow.
Texas authorities were alerted to the gangbangers' attempts to force their way into the US by an anonymous informant, who said the violent border break-ins by the gang ‘would continue every night' at around 3 a.m.
The tipster said the gang intends to ‘cause harm' to the Texas National Guard soldiers who are stationed there — ‘especially when they are left alone with no agents' to help them.
A Texas law enforcement source told The Post that ‘gunfire has picked up big time' along the El Paso border in recent days, adding that authorities have also had to fire more pepperballs at groups trying to breach the border.
We're literally fighting a war against a Venezuelan prison gang at our border, folks!
