Today in the absolute darkest parts of clown world, former surgeon Joël Le Scouarnec, 74, kicked off France's biggest child sex abuse trial in Vannes, admitting to most of his alleged crimes — raping or abusing 299 kids, many under his "care," over 30 years.
Often while they were conveniently anesthetized.
Already jailed for prior rapes, he kept working in hospitals until 2017, when he was caught raping his 6-year-old neighbor.
Police found his creepy diaries detailing the horrors.
After a 2005 child porn slap-on-the-wrist, he still scored a surgeon gig. In 2020, he finally got 15 years for assaulting his neighbor's kid, nieces, and a 4-year-old patient.

Francois, a plaintiff in the case and who was 12 when Le Scouarnec allegedly abused him, said he felt betrayed by the authorities.
'Why did nobody stop this surgeon from working with children?' said Francois, who asked to be identified only by this name.
...'There is no way that somebody can rape and assault children for all those years without the knowledge of people around,' said Homayra Sellier, head of Innocence in Danger, which is supporting 40 alleged victims and is a plaintiff in the case.
Now, if convicted, he faces a measly 20 years — basically a life sentence for this geezer, but a paltry punishment for the abuse of 299 kids across decades.
Sending such monsters to meet their Maker is actual justice.
