On Sunday night, Donald Trump posted this on Truth Social:
Ah, yes, if only those dang pro-lifers would have been more onboard with killing babies, we could have gotten more political power!
(For fun, imagine this was 1830 and switch out "abortion" for "slavery" and see how it reads a few centuries later.)
There is a grain of truth here, however. Mitch McConnell definitely spent money on the wrong elections (and withheld money from good candidates that didn't fall prostrate before his authority). Meanwhile, Democrats drummed up many people to vote on the abortion issue.
But that's not the point.
Trump is imploding.
